"One person can make a difference - Jesus did!”

ONE GOOD MAN or ONE GOOD WOMAN... striving to become even better day by day. Together, we make a family.

Beloved Matriarch

Idris Egbert Hebdon
7 January 1921 - 17 January 2012

Blessed Parting II

The linger longer method
Is also a plan divine.
It’s how grandma proved to all of us
That she would never whine.

Perhaps you can remember
When grandpa passed away;
It was grandma who lead the music
For the closing song that day.

Some would say she’s stoic.
Others would say she’s strong.
Even others would mention giving.
None of them would be wrong.

When you think of departed Grandma
Think of bread or a popcorn ball
And you will certainly realize
That she isn’t dead at all.

But she continues living
Just not in this particular place.
She’s with Keith and the other loved ones
Who have ascended to greater Grace.

Books Available

Some have shown interest in purchasing the books displayed at the funeral, so here is the info requested -
To keep them at their cheapest, I will place an order before the end of the month, but I have a family reunion the last weekend, so I need the orders by the morning of the 28th (July). They can be ordered later, but prices may change. Prices shown are subject to change, include tax and shipping, and must be ordered through me because they are my creations, but I make no money on any of them.

Keith Auger Hebdon - no link is available, but it was the book on the display. ($62.00)

There is one of Idris Egbert Hebdon too - copies of both books of Keith and Idris can be seen here at my house, at grandmas, or each of their children should have a copy. ($61.00)

Our Ancestors ($66.00)

Beloved Patriarch

Keith Auger Hebdon
17 December 1921 - 5 July 2011

Blessed Parting

An expeditious passing
Can be a fortuitous thing,
It diminishes the pain and anguish
That protracted illnesses bring.

The finality of the death though
Certainly hits the heart.
But what concludes in one place
In another gets it’s start.

That’s what happened to grandpa
Or dad or however you call his name.
That’s what will happen to each of us
The process is the same.

So the theater of life goes on and on.
The players come and go.
From God back to God,
The Savior made it so.
